Michael Walker has been a nurse since 1997. He is originally from Brownsville, Texas in the Rio Grande Valley. After high school he served in the United States Marine Corp and is a veteran of Dessert Shield/Dessert Storm in 1991. After discharge from the military, he was a police officer for the city of San Benito, Texas and during that time went to college to get his nursing degree and became a Registered Nurse. His initial work experience was in the hospital setting working both medical/surgical and intensive care until he transitioned to long term care. He has been doing long term care now for about 16 years. Michael is engaged to be married to his fiancé Liliana. He also has two daughters and two grandchildren.
